Background & Experience
Sierk joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s Vancouver office in 2009 to specialize in the sale of land, special assets and bank-owned real estate. He has more than ten years of experience in residential and commercial real estate lending, including mortgage banking, Historic and Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, as well as equity and venture capital investing in market rate and affordable housing.
Most recently, Sierk served as Vice President and Manager of Specialty Lending and Emerging Markets for National City Mortgage’s Western Division.
Prior to that, Sierk held positions at National City Bank, as Vice President and Executive Director of National City Community Development Corporation in Chicago, and as Vice President of Community Reinvestment, which promoted the revitalization of low and moderate income communities by making loans and investments in residential and small business commercial real estate.
Sierk’s early career was in the non-profit sector of affordable housing finance and development.
Sierk holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon, and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Ohio State University. He is a licensed broker in Washington.
