Background & Experience
Sierk joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson in 2009 to focus on the sale of financially distressed commercial real estate, bank owned real estate and investment sales. Prior to joining Norris, Beggs & Simpson, Sierk worked for one of the largest national banks, National City Bank Corporation (now PNC). As a Vice President at National City Bank, Sierk managed the Specialty Lending function of the mortgage company in the western division, and prior to that managed all of the Community Development real estate lending and investment activity in Chicago and Northern Illinois.
Sierk has expertise in multifamily and residential subdivision finance, as well as public/private partnerships involving funding sources such as LIHTC, TIFF, Bonds, Mezzanine Lending, Venture Capital/Preferred Equity, as well as New Markets Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits.
Education
Sierk has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts, and a Masters of City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University College of Engineering.
