Background & Experience
Since joining NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s Brokerage Department in 1996, Scott has specialized in industrial/flex leasing and sales throughout the Portland area, with a special focus on Portland’s core areas including Northwest Portland, Southeast Portland and North/Northeast Portland. Scott has developed a significant amount of experience working with redevelopment of older industrial sites. In 2006, Scott completed 40 transactions, 12 of which were sales including the Yeon Business Center sale, on behalf of Schnitzer Northwest, and the disposition of the Hoffman portfolio.
Other recent transactions include the sale of the former Hostess bakery site in north Portland to Sierra Construction, the sale of the Tice Electric site on SE 20th and Belmont to George Hale Development, as well as the Benson Industry site in the Pearl District. All of these former industrial sites will be converted to mixed-use development.
Education
Scott is a Portland native and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Portland State University.
